The Saliba Alsterarkaden is located in one of Hamburg's most traditional locations - directly on the Kleine Alster, in a building that once housed the "Vegetarische Gaststätte" and was restored at great expense after a fire. The spirit of this institution has survived: the diverse range of meat-free dishes and menus is not only popular with vegetarians. A selection of dishes can also be taken home.

At lunchtime, people meet for a business lunch on the second floor. The summer is enjoyed outside - an international crowd meets under the white arcades or on the jetty by the water. A glass of rose tea, a mocha with cardamom and a slice of cake provide afternoon relaxation from turbulent shopping trips.
