It all started with a small Syrian restaurant in Osterstraße.
Even back then, the Saliba served guests countless, exceptionally refined culinary delights.
The people of Hamburg fell in love with the Mazza - the festive prelude to an oriental meal, which quickly turns out to be a "Caravan of delicacies" was talking around.
Today, we continue this tradition in our popular restaurant on the Alster, which is one of the leading establishments for oriental cuisine in Germany.
"We can still learn a lot from these exotic chefs. The play of colors of the mazza, as I ate it in Saliba, with all the starters that covered the table like a mosaic, we have nothing to counter that in European cuisine."
